Metal Detector Improvements
 

The new metal detector is a great way to make gralats on zone, currently being its pretty hard to earn them. But it still needs a few things added to it to make it better and easier to use.

Sound:
There should be a sound that happens when you press the metal detector button on your hot keys. And maybe even a different sound for when you use it over a piece of robot.

Pop-ups
Everytime you pick up a piece there should be a pop up at the bottom of your screen saying: 'you have picked up some/a _____'. It would make it a lot easier to tell if you have picked it up, because you have to be 100% on top of it to pick it up.

A sound was added but its like 20 beeps for every time you press it.... its gotten annoying enuf for me to turn off sounds. and i love sounds ;(

Sound was added and is now working correctly. I will work on the hotkey thing but no promises.


Edit: I have added the dances and the metal detector now. It also now lets you know when you picked up the trash.

These are good recommendations.

Would be interesting to be able to buy an attachment that points you to the nearest piece of scrap as well. But that is a little far fetched.

Another thing I noticed is that you can't enter a ship when you have it equipped

Was this always an issue or just recently?
