GraalClassic banning clients on iOS7 Beta
 

I just got the new IOS Beta 7
I wanted to log on in graal, but i couldn't. I'm banned for not using an apple device. I am using an apple device, even if I wasn't that wouldn't be illegal. There are many other devices playing: Android, Pc.
I'd like this to be undone and I also want this gone from my Ban-History.
I haven't checked my Era account yet but i'll be banned too probally.

It is probably better to take this to [email protected] rather than posting in a public forum where Graal staff may not be able to see.

The reason is because iOS 7 is not recognised by the server (after all, it isn't publicly available yet) and there are security measures to ensure only recognised devices running certain operating systems are allowed to connect. I've already notified GraalOnline Classic staff about this.

Every time you open the app on a device running iOS 7, the ban will be reset to 24 hours. However by the time iOS 7 is publicly released, the server should be ready to accept the new system.



Update: You shouldn't really be using beta iOS if you are not registered as an Apple Developer. This is why the ban should not happen to everyday users.

I agree with Midori. I also especially agree that if you aren't a developer and are using iOS 7 just don't use it.

Oh man that check still exists? I made the original and had to patch it for the last beta.

[email protected] should be able to fix it up pretty quickly. Stefan should be able to also determine some new checks for the new iOS to use (since i'm not there :))

Yeah that won't fix it lol. They can get unbanned but will get rebanned when they log back in using the new OS.

Did you somehow miss the point of them getting Stefan to modify the checks? This exact same thing happened last iOS beta and I had it fixed within the hour I was notified back then.

Well it is for developers. It's not supposed to be used by end users.

Worst are the dicks who get beta, try an app to have it fail then 1 star the app over their own stupidity -_-

You shouldn't discuss bans on here as it is not allowed. I would rather try emailing them and they will resolve the issue for you.
