1v1 spar tournament
 

We have a guild spar tourney,so why not a tournament where every player is a team?Same way to qualify for the GST,highest ranked players make it.

Idea was suggested before but I like it anyways :D

Really wouldn't work. Besides, you can just host 1v1 tourneys in your house if you provide people with detailed information.

it's a good idea but it's doubtful that you'll see any overwhelming support on these forums because it's generally anti-sparring around these parts and most people would be against it because of their own assumption that they'd have no realistic chance at winning

This I agree with. Theres no point in having an official 1v1 tournament. A 2v2 tag team would be more appropriate.

How would we determine who would enter? Top 64 accounts on the leader boards? If so, then the same people would be participating every time. What would stop people from going on a second/third/fourth account to keep trying to rank up? Considering most Graalians, sparrers in particular, already have several accounts, already.

I have personally done like 3 threads on ways to spruce up the gst, like this singles competition,or 2 vs 2,ect. Now that I have had time to think about it they should just leave the gst alone and concentrate on adding non hat related content.

Well, they deserve to.

Pretty basic IP-based restrictions. If someone felt the need to do this, it's not like they'd win the tournament anyway. I don't see it happening.
