Write About the Anime You Watched Today

Just post something about the anime you watched today, can be a simple as just stating the series and the episode, to talking about your opinion on a specific episode (Remember Spoilers).

For me today I watched my usual 2 episodes of Ookami-san and Her Seven Companions on my bus ride to and from school (Episode 7 and 8)

I've been trying out some of the new series for the fall season.

Kill La Kill Episode 1: Pretty good imo, but the art style and animation seems like an older style and more cartoonish compared to the usual Anime styles.

IS: Infinite Stratos 2 Episode 1: I have been waiting for this after watching season one, the episode was okay, just showing all the characters and how dense the Main Character is once again.

Golden Time Episode 1: This was a pretty good episode. I have hopes for this series as a good romance since the author who wrote this is the one who wrote ToraDora, which was a very good series.

What did you guys watch today?

Just starting to watch Monster. It's about a Japanese surgeon prodigy that moved to Germany to work at a prestigious hospital.

After he failed to save the life of a young boy because of neglecting to do "what was right", he is overcome by guilt. Soon after, while he's operating on another young boy that has just been brought in after his family was massacred, he is ordered to abandon what he is doing and go operate on the mayor who has also just been brought in. Ignoring his orders, he continues to work on the young boy and as a result, he saves his life. He then learns that the mayor didn't survive the operation the less-skilled surgeons were conducting, and as a result of the Mayor's death, he loses his job.

Not long after that, the young boy he saved goes missing with his sister (who was also brought in, as she survived the massacre also) and a streak of murders begin to be reported. The odd thing is though, that all the people that have been murdered are related to the loss of his job, and so the police suspect that it was him who murdered these people.

It's a good watch.

You should just make separate threads on the anime's you're currently watching to be honest. Look at the Shingeki no Kyojin (Attack on Titan) and Sword Art Online thread popularity.

Yeah, but I am usually watching about 15 series every season.

Been watching the original Hellsing series.

Been comparing and contrasting with the newer Hellsing Ultimate series.

Honestly, I'm glad they dropped the theme song .-.

Spoiler

O ya and ill be finishing Neon Genesis Evangelion tomorrow. ok show; not as good as a mecha anime as gurren lagann; the action is a little rushed and bad animation, but good plot.

Yeah, but that only works for some popular ones. If I made one on Code: Breaker or Vividred Operation it would get nothing.

Today I watched Rozen Maiden: Träumend. So far I like it equally as well as the first season. I'm about 5/12 episodes done with it.

I don't really have much motivation to watch Action Themed anime unless it's an ongoing series.

Now today I started all four of the new series that came out today:

Strike the Blood, pretty interesting for the first episode, I seem to like it better than the hyped up Kill La Kill.

Outbreak Company, a good first episode, the main character is an Otaku and goes to this fantasy world that would seem like it was straight out of an anime, his duty as an government representation for Japan to teach the people of the other realm about Anime and Manga.

Yuusha ni Narenakatta Ore wa Shibushibu Shuushoku wo Ketsui Shima****a.
AKA Yu-sibu, is pretty similar to The Devil is a Part Timer, except it's more based on their job and the main character is the hero and the female character is the daughter of the demon lord.

Nagi no Asukara, this was okay, I can see it going down as a drama, but so far it's pretty decent and standard, not one that I will probably get excited as much compared to the above three.

I see. Just wondering though. Why don't you rate an anime once it's finished instead of while watching it? I noticed you have quite a few animes on there with only a few episodes watched with a rating. Unless you're rewatching it and add it back to watch list then nevermind. My rating changes depending on the ending of an anime.
