Finding online admins :/
 

Have you guys ever been in a moment when you really need an admin but it takes you a long time to find one that is online ? Or maybe you had to go all the way to a info house because you forgot the admin name ??!
We'll if you have then you would know that this is really anoying and sometimes completely pointless

Soooo why can't there be a command tho show admins online ??
Maybe there could be a guild tag where all the admins are and we could simply do the showguild command ??

Because sometimes they don't want to be Pm'd or just bothered all together.

If admins like Graal Police want to have powers..
They need to be on tag (Graal Police (rank whatevs))

But yeah, something like this would be convenient, wasn't there once a showadmin command or something like that before, or was that just a hoax?

There was, but they removed it. If you say it now, the words will just dissapear.

In the past I suggested a new button on the menu (or somewhere else) where a player would be able to click it, then a list of all the current staff would pop up (like a friends list but with admins). When you click on an admin it directs you to their staff account/profile.

I haven't played classic long enough to see this but they have it on some PC servers where the command showadmins comes up

There are things staff need to do that can only be done on their staff accounts. Sometimes being undisturbed and uninterrupted is nice.

Also, reports are fielded frequently, so use that feature, and be specific.

If there was a way to just pull up online staff, their message boxes would consist of "Hi admin!!!!" , "x wants to be your friend" , "want to join my guild?" ,"want to see my house?," and so on....ask me how I know.

Just add the ones that always open these admin events. Add those people as soon as they pop up and pm them.

Ryan, Rather than showing the online staff list, I would convince Xor to make another feedback icon/section that directs to the Graal Police forum. We can ask a question and anonymous admins can exchange their answers/thoughts back.
Of course to prevent any feedback forum issues, first spam is not allowed and need to write a specific reasons that supports the statement.

I don't see the problem. GPs relay issues to me all the time from PMs they get from players.

The problem is that when players can easily PM staff, they like to spam the **** out of them. I don't care if you're GP, dev or admin. No one should have to fish through multiple PMs every couple of seconds that are just BS.

Just to put it into perspective. When announcements are made you literally get 500 PMs in the span of a minute. No. Exaggeration.
