Is the rumor true?
 

Anyone here know for fact if the rumor of them no longer doing 1k hats once top 100 is full is true? I just heard it today from someone and was just curious. I don't much care since I don't tower a whole lot just to help friends when they need it. I could imagine people maybe quitting if so though lol.

I doubt it very much classic is an incredibly fair mmo and wouldnt give older players priveleges like that.

Yeah it didn't seem true just because top 100 is full doesn't mean those guilds that get 1k shouldn't get the reward. Now if they want top stop the reward because of multiple guilds doing 1k instead of going further (which I don't mind that they do it), I understand. It just seems to me if this would happen people would just go to Delteria or something I think which would be sad to see some leave.

Doubt it, even if it was done, everyone would freak out so much that they'd put it back

Was it SoN that was nearing 1k when they got rid of 1k hats? I remember some guild was and they were going to get a "generic item" rather than a hat and everyone bitched and they brought hats back.

Good Riddance to 1k hat, the people at Sards who constantly make 1k guilds then start all over again with a new guild are the reason that there is a rumour in the first place.

Voyage was the closest and SoN caught up and passed Voyage durring that time.

I do think they should be legit and go for 5k, but hey if they want to keep making new guilds go for it I guess I don't really care. What they should do probably is stop rewarding guilds like Half Heart all the time if anything. Not every guild that works for this should be punished because of that.

^this. What do they do to fix it??? add more hp to the flag great idea admins. Lets not change the lay out until we find something better that makes it easier to take and doesn't just let guilds sit in their and lag block all day and do nothing about it.

As for the rumor there are far to many whiney hat chasers to ever shut down the reward system unless a new one is introduced that still allows for them to get free hats every so often
