Is this overkill for 1440p? Also, I know it's a stupid question but what fps would I be getting on minecraft lowest settings? what fps on gta 4 ultra settings? BF4 ultra fps? Skyrim ultra settings fps?

$2000 is at the high end of a PC build, so it makes no sense that he wouldn't shell out the few extra dollars for an SSD at that point. (Also $2000 is a fair amount of money pal)
