Old Memorial Building
Hey!
Just was talking about the old "Graal Memorial Building" with some people after seeing the return of fireworks in the game, and came up with a concept. Previously there was an art museum, which I thought was amazing, but that disappeared at some point... and I kind of missed that, too. Not that the single remaining 'statue' at red barn isn't bad, but it was pretty cool getting to see and purchase art objects in game that were made by the community! SO, what I was thinking - what if we combined the two concepts, using the old memorial building as a location for the art gallery, with items that could be purchased with random tokens... hey, sounds reminiscent of the 'honor points' system? That was abused by some, but also nifty... Anywho, that's about as far as I got on the idea. Maybe throw in some AP gain (from absorbing all that cultural arty atmosphere?) like from a church at the same time? So, to sum up... Special Tokens + Old Memorial Building + Community Art/designs = Graal Community Hall? Any takers? |
Does no one remember the OLD Graal Memorial Building? (before the holiday token shop)

I wasn't playing classic then, but I know the building your talking about and I have visited it several times. I think its a good idea. It's not being used anyways atm. As far as the tokens go I'm not so sure it would be good to introduce another kind of currency, and how would you introduce them into the game that wouldn't be easily abused? Maybe convert the doubloon loot into "tokens"

There isn't really an issue. Just how would one go about distributing or getting the tokens? special quest? diving? digging? certain baddies? I was thinking that if they did bring back a "special token" shop or have tokens for whatever they should introduce the achievement system Rufus suggested awhile back, and you would get the tokens from achievements. |
yeah digging needs more game-play inclusion... maybe funny patches of ground to show up like the dark spots in the water?

Maybe they could be land mines to. |
