Bug safari and Fishing
 

I just wanted to Rehash some old ideas from several old threads and see if there are any updates on them.

1.)There was an idea thrown around for a pokemon like bug safari place that was going to be put in where the old battle arena was located in the East side of the Swamp area. Just wondering why it didn't happen? or if it is still or even was worked on?

A few ideas for it:

• pay to enter each time,possibly free entry for vip subscribers
• Would be a mini game where you only get to hunt for a limited time and you get prize items for collecting certain amounts in the time limit.

2.)Fishing-There has been tons and tons of threads on this. Just wondering where we are at on it??? Idk if it hasn't been suggested yet,but I was thinking it might be more feasible if it was set up as a mini game like in most of the recent Zelda games rather than something you can do in the open world map. You would have to pay a fee to fish i.e. rent the fishing rod from the npc owner running the mini game.

A few ideas for it:

• keep a list ranking who has caught the biggest fish listing size and type of fish
• Tournaments to see who can catch the most fish in a set amount of time and/or who has the most combined weight of fish
• List of total fish caught by an individual player

The fishing idea has been seen before alot so this isnt really new to me, the bug safari however is a new and unique idea but doubt it could happen due tl how busy the admins are nowadays. ~Fuu

for the fishing i think they should make it like loot.

That would be ok,but I would rather it be set up so there is a little bit of skill involved rather than a random chance when you drop a hook in a black dot on the water. I would like to see a slot in the inventory screen like we have for bugs and loot that would keep track of type and number of fish you have.

Make the bug thing into an event :)
