iPad Controls?

They are very messed up. I was definatly not swigging & sliding in weird directions before. It seems off position or something. Idk but it's not just as me as other people have had this problem.

Exactly what I'm having :/ on my ipad idk why they're messed up though :0

Just a friendly fyi you should feedback your control issues in game, and if your going to submit something for it here on the forums there is a report bugs thread made by Dusty in the future improvements section.

Anywho. I have never really had any problems with the controls on my Iphone5 except the directional buttons wouldn't work for crap when the phone itself was plugged in and charging while I was trying to play. It's always a bitch fighting to move when trying to tower,or doing an event.

I play on the iPad and its fine.

Just remember to zoom in for the controls so they're slightly bigger and shadow your fingers over the buttons you want to click, so you don't miss

I played a bit on an iPad and the walking + items buttons need to be moved down a bit. But thats just my opinion

Thallen 02-26-2014 06:14 PM

it seems as if the GUI, like the overlay of the controls is offset in comparison to the actual underlying controls

what I mean is:
http://puu.sh/7bn4Y.png

red = visual of the iPad controls
green = touchscreen point where the control actually exists

just a hunch, anyway, it's messed up and no one cared before the GST when 3 out of 5 members of Alumni core had to spar with it

Dusty 02-26-2014 07:11 PM

Well I wasn't around for a while, whenever this happened to occur. However I have extended the detection of the dpad. As far as I know the controls are aligned properly(I tested by putting my thumb in between the buttons and wiggling it around. The movement aligned with the correct buttons).

Sparring on an ipad is like watching an iMax movie.

Maybe your fingers are just retarted.

Sicx 02-27-2014 12:30 AM

I'm aware of that but they are both apple products so they are similar are they not?

^This. I did notice when I started playin on my new android device that there was a toggle-able option to increase the button size when I was trying to fix some of the issues I was having. I never really noticed or checked if that was available on Idevices as well.

super kurosaki 02-28-2014 06:05 AM

rofos pls explain to dis guy

Bubba De Orc 02-28-2014 11:19 AM

I had the same problems with my iPad when I started playing.

You need to get used to it to excel at it.

Xenthic 02-28-2014 02:45 PM

I don't see what the point was in changing it when all they did was make it worse.
