Unnecessary refunds
 

Hello everybody, today I would like to discuss and address an important issue that had happened a few hours ago.

As you guys may know, iEra gst is an upcoming event, which some of the gang are preparing themselves for. A gang that I am in, owned by Duke (Impulse) had our very own gst outfit, which consisted of a head and a body by which all guidelines were followed.

Everyone of us who had it upload (which is about 10 players+), all got our custom refunded by Gunner (Player Relations). I'm confused on this part as to why he would do this and how he got away with it. I'm surprised and shock that nothing was done about this. Now I'd like to ask wouldn't this be consider abuse and misused of power? I used to work for an iOS server and I know for fact you don't go around refunding people's custom because you feel like it, it's common sense. Unless the custom violates an upload rule.

This is not a complaint thread, this thread is here to show and request some answers and help from the iEra staff team. Please feel free to leave a comment below, try to stay on the positive side guys.

Ah, that head? Now I know what you're talking about. Probably refunded due to the "no heads with hats" rule, although that rule is obsolete and no longer enforced (source: Stefan Knorr).

Before you say "oh the leafs on the head thats why"... consider this:
1. Half the default heads on graal have hats on them
2. AT LEAST half the custom uploaded heads on graal have 1 or more hats on them (counting earrings... yes earrings. They count as a hat. No you say? check the hat shop by mercy beach in era then say no it doesnt count as a hat)
3.Without the leafs on the head its just a black circle with two dots in the middle... the leafs basically are the head.
4. Only impulses heads were refunded and theres a good amount of players around era with the same/similar heads with the leafs on them.


And when they were refunded by the PR duke asked why and was told "Because youre not any more special than the other gangs". No theres no proof sorry :(. And as for the bodies that 10+ players paid for... they werent rufunded and we all now have useless bodies that use to match our heads lol.

That's not the problem. Era is more lenient on those. They allow small amounts of accessories as long as it doesn't cover the face or a full on hat. A lot of heads has these types of accessories as you may call it. Anyway it still wouldn't make sense to why it was refunded even though it was approved x10, at different time and most likely different staff members each time. Not sure if Gunner intentions were good or bad, but some history between Duke and Gunner occurred in the past which I'm guessing he (Gunner) is taking his advantages against Duke.

Just an attempt by dragun to get a staff members attention. And kinda offtopic but your gfx are really improving bro. Keep going you'll do great things.

Hey dude, I feel your pain...

I'm a classic player, but saw this in the forum and had to mention my own story.

I had made a head/body combo (robot with tank tread feet) and wore it without issue for about 4 months. Then, christmas day, someone decided to refund my body for half gralats (which happens if you broke a rule).

Needless to say I was offended and took to the forum and demanded some one fix it. NO ONE did. I got some half responses about upload it again and whatever, but the problem for me was that I essentially was stolen from.

NOT cool. There should be some kind of upload refund queue that an actual experienced admin deals with, and not just this willy nilly player abuse.

Also, I'm just saying, it'd be easier to spread the word to more people who actually care(d) on era-go, seeing as how Graalians's iEra subforum is mostly just flame.
