The human race has been suppressed to living in underground caves by the Spiral King, Lord Genome. Meanwhile, Gunmen (mechas) patrol the overworld, killing any humans who escape their underground villages. However, heros, Kamina and Simon are able to escape their village and hijack a red gunman. Simon pilots the small "Lagann" mecha that has a large drill; Kamina pilots the larger "Gurren" mecha; combined: Gurren-Lagann. The two meet a number of other rebel friends. The ultimate goal is to overthrow Lord Genome and the gunmans' rule and let the human race live freely. But they dont know the consequences of their dreams quite yet... As my first anime, the extreme over-the-top action in this series really got me hooked on anime.

"Zwei" has lost his memory when he wakes up he is forced to become an assassin for an unknown organization. Ein and Zwei are the perfect assassin partners (colored with a little romance too). However, Zwei is thinking about the future and knows he and Ein must attempt to escape the organization to be able to live together freely. But the organization's mastermind isnt about give up the world's best assassins so easily.

Cant remember his name, but he is XIII (number 13) in an assassins organization, codename: Black Cat, the organizations most feared assassin. However, he leaves the organization to pursue love and a different life. He becomes a bounty hunter with a few new friends. The main plot is shallow until things come back together towards the end.
