Mystery Box
 

Apologies if this has been suggested before.

Nothing major, but an incentive to log on everyday. I think iClassic could greatly benefit with a mystery box - an idea that gets you logging in everyday to fulfill your curiousity.

How does this work?

Quite simply, everyday you have the option to purchase 1 mystery box/bag/whatever for 1,000 gralats (enough so players are encouraged to complete pyrat quest) where the item inside is completely random/rng.

What could be inside?

Hats (of course!) - You could be lucky and win an event hat or possibly a hat that will released be in the future! Or be unlucky and win a hat that is currently in a shop for less than 1k, a hat is a hat!
- Furniture - Same as hats.
- Food - Lame!
Jackpot prize - The real pull in getting people to actually buy these, people want that fat unicorn mount? That could be a possible jackpot prize for a limited time, or something else!
Nothing- Sucks!

So yeah, I think something like this would be pretty cool, I've always enjoyed these sort of mechanisms in other games (Squeal of Fortune, Daily Login Rewards etc.)

So, your thoughts?

good idea but people would just abuse the system to get many boxes per day. Maybe it can be added as an incentive for the people that buy the vip subscription.

Yeah that could work, or it could be linked to devices, i.e every unique device gets 1 box a day. Fair enough it can be abused like that, but the amount of effort you'd have to put in for a chance at winning a hat overlooks it imo.

^I like this idea. To me this is a great idea that would be cool. How ever it seems like its one of those It would be cool to do it but it's not really do able be cause ppl will use multi accounts and find ways to abuse it and it wouldn't be fair for all players. If I remember right,and I could be completely wrong but I'm thinking it was Rufus but one of the admins or former admins was against handing out random prizes just for logging on daily which is basically what you are purposing. Again I'm not against it. I'm just telling you what was said before on this general subject.

I'm sure I suggested it before. I was thinking it would be nice if there was some where you could go to spin a "wheel of fortune" for a random prize. There would be like 20 or how many ever random prize spots on it some would be good while others would be duds. As for a jack pot I would put a jack pot spot on the wheel,but when you hit it you get 500 gralats. Then you get to spin again for free,and you would have to hit the spot 3x in a row to get the jack pot.

There would be several stipulations on it however to limit players use of it and to try and regulate its use to keep ppl from abusing it.

1. First spin is free
2. If you wish to spin again its 1000 gralats and the price doubles for each spin you wish to do after that. So it goes from 1k,then 2k,then 4k and so on for as long as you wish to pay or are able to do so.
3. Once you start your first spin if you leave the wheel spin screen you can not spin again for 24 hours. So essentially it would be one wheel spin session a day.
