Keyboard for Ipad
 

Hey guys,
Have a keyboard for my ipad and tried using it on graal and the movements didn't work. Was wondering if there was something that had to be done or clicked for it to work properly. The letters I, J, K, and L move the character but you have to keep clicking them for the character to move instead of holding them and the character running smoothly. Anyone who has any advice please let me know.

Graal probably doesn't support the keyboard.

Probably just a funny type of input from the keyboard. Try other apps, or holding a key to type the same letter repeatedly. If the keyboard has options, it might be in there. If none of these things, the app may not support it as stated above. But I wouldn't be quick to assume.

Conclusion: Kids are beating you in spar and you aren't lagging and you won't blame lag and instead want some other edge over players so you thought a keyboard will work cuz all them pc players.

Yup basically my intentions my man.. everything but me losing, lag or not I still win. Basically PC runs Graal differently then an Ipad or iphone and if you don't have a solid computer it actually lags/delays like crazy. Idevices run this game much better and since I spar on PC with a keyboard and needed a case for my ipad anyways, I bought one with a keyboard on it. The keyboard doesn't react right to commands which is why I made the thread to see if there was a solution.

Go find another thread to waste you time in..or maybe talk to a girl.. a real one..

Haven't played this game for a year and a half. Don't even plan on returning. Forum lurking too fun.

As far as I know Classic doesn't have keyboard support.

Try using the game pad and maybe hace the keyboard case connect to it:rolleyes:

You think the keyboard doesn't work because its bluetooth. If I get a keyboard that plugs directly into the ipad do you think it will work? Trying to find someone who's attempted it. The keyboard actually moves my character it just moves stops, then goes then moves.

As far as I know, keyboards do not on iServers. My friend bough an iPad 2 case with a keyboard connected to it. She tried to do multiple things with it on Graal and none of them work. Only the game pad for iDevice works. One question lol.
Why buy the keyboard for spar when Graal support game pads? O.o

Controllers are better for sparring! Or if your PC doesn't lag, hook up an Xbox Controller to your PC to spar.

I actually like keyboard better than controller. It might just be an adjustment thing but I feel more in control of my character with keyboard (sharper movements, strafing). The keyboard for iPad does move your character on graal so it does in fact work but it's delayed and has this stop-n-go movement at least on the Bluetooth kind. I've seen that there are corded keyboards that plug directly into your iPad. Someone has to have one, I know a lot of the schools use them because of the Bluetooth technologies interfering with eachother.
