GST Predictions?
 

I am just curious to see everyone's GST Predictions for both iDevice and Mixed... so yeah just write your predictions for who you think will win or who are the top contenders.

iDevice: I think this is the year iJesus69 finally wins one.


Mixed: I heard that super pro sparer Zeross from PC is coming back to Mother, so I'm guessing it's going to be an easy GST for Mother.

I predict Alumni, Deity, SLX, and Essence will yet again be the only 4 real guilds in the GST who don't frantically recruit or materialize 1-2 weeks before the tournament, therefore they win by default

Itd be nice if there were some kind of in-game reminder (besides the "registration is open" news PSA the day before). I mean it doesnt even appear on Graalians calendar here anymore either.
Like have the NPC in Battle Arena say "Congratulations to ' ' and ' ' blablablah... The next GST is scheduled for <date>". and even if it needs to be delayed, then just edit that date.

iClassic would be hardcore if it sent you an iOS notification when there was a queue event and you could immediately click a button and queue for the event and enter the app

they should look into iOS notifications for news updates though, pretty sure the GST registration opening gets added to the news anyway

Love this idea. It would cause some real lag spikes though, so it's probably improbable.

What a waste of a thread. There is nothing to predict it will be the same teams that always win followed by countless bitching that its rigged. It would be better if more ppl actually gave a crap and like Thallen pointed out didnt just throw teams together frantically. Imo GST will never improve unless the admin staff ever add a league or something that would give ppl a valid reason to be on a spar team all the time and not 1-2 weeks every 4 months.

I think for iDev vdragz or Alumni. For mixed Apostles or Deity. Mothers team is just rumoured not confirmed. But I think their will be breakout guilds.

I think a team will win and another one will come second.

I think girl modeling high will win because their dope bodies and heads make you give mercy and lose.

As of now, Mother doesn't even have a Mixed team. So I don't see how we will be having an easy win.

Same, my team:

• David has work until 11
• Destroyer is going to a big football game
• Eko is banned for literally the stupidest reason I've ever heard
• Aarian is banned
• Nadine is probably going to a friend's party
• Male is inactive
• Rygor is in Indiana
• Ares doesn't care about the GST
• Tucker will be too high to remember the date

I've never GST'd with a full and active Mixed team though, so it doesn't bother me anymore. As always, the GST is just a for-fun tournament that sees a winner based on who can be online and who is willing to temporarily shuffle into guilds to try and get the win.

I don't think Essence has a full team either. Alumni either skips the Mixed tourney or just yolos it with our active members. Whatever happens, I hope both tournaments are won by a team that didn't desperately come together because they're thirsty for a hat that they think will raise their status in the sparring community. I wouldn't be too bothered to see Deity win.

I think the iDevice tournament has been a lot more competitive and had the better sparrers for a while. I feel like a team that is mostly iDevice could win a combined tournament.
