Catching bugs on mount
I think we should be able to use our bug nets while we're on our mounts. Like swords, they would swing out from the side instead of directly in front. I just noticed today at Oasis that there were 3 agrias, 2 peacocks and 1 morpho far out in the water where they had no chance of ever coming back to land. This idea would make it so that there are less bugs that are just sitting in inaccessible areas and making it less likely for more to spawn. The net would be able to be used on all mounts, but for ones that go over water (broom, cloud, etc.) the net can be used in the water as well.
Also, while we're on the subject of bugs, can we remove the bushes that are right before the Belle Island chairlift ends? I saw 5 mantises over there today, which again, makes it less likely for mantises to spawn in places where we can actually catch them. |
yes

Good idea. We should be able to use arrows on mount too

I need to get VIP again, I've never seen an catchable Agrias in the wild before. (I am a noob bug catcher, yes.)
Anyways, I support this. (Even though I don't have a mount that can travel over water) but it'd still be pretty cool! |

I think mounts should only be used for transportation. I hate noobs on horses spamming their swords when i try to have a pk battle with someone. especially since they modified it so you cant spam your sword at them and kill them faster(or as fast) than the water glitch. i would prefer they take away the option to swing your sword from the mounts than adding more usages to it.

I'm pretty sure this has been discussed in the past ...

This would be helpful. I still think there should be a dhingy quest. Water mounts move faster, but dhingys have the ability to fight other dhingys and use items. Pirate fans would be insanely happy. The giant water masses should be taken advantage of more.
