Disable Overhead Chat
 

Can we get an option to completely disable on-screen chat or a friends-only overhead chat? This will probably be used by very few people, but seems easy from a coding standpoint (at least the former does). 99% of the time I'm sparring, I just don't want to see what the other person is saying. I'd love to be able to just ignore it, but it kind of bleeds across the screen if they're sitting around the arena and it's just too many people to individually block.

Zodiac has an ignorelist for overhead chat so I'm sure this is ezpz.

We had something like this implemented on Valikorlia for our RP tournament arenas, so I know it can be done on a technical level. :)

Jesus, all you talk about is Valikorlia, every time someone makes a post you try to bring it into the conversation like you're actually proud of a server that is about roleplay. Then you go around and act like you're better than everyone else. Just shut up.

relax dude he/she is one of the few people here that shows others respect, i dont see him/her acting like she/he is better than anybody else.

Hmm, you know I don't think we're any better than anyone else, I just have a lot of personal history there and can relate to other people on a graal level because of it. There are plenty of better servers than ours. We just try to look pretty now and then.

If you have problems with that try to report him. Valikorlia is actually older than you so yeah alot of graal experience can be related from it.

No don't be sorry, you can talk about whatever you want, that server is older than half the graalians using this forum I bet.

It can get pretty annoying if I bring it up a lot, so I apologize. I am just sad because you guys are still doing stuff and we aren't. It's like if all of you guys still played these games until you were 30 but all your friends have left. It makes me happy to see you guys finding the same problems we did back then and probably finding better solutions to them. I feel too old around here sometimes.

I've wanted this option for a while. I'd pay to have this implemented, it would make my Graal experience much more enjoyable.

yeah /clearchat disables all currently shown chats. But if they rechat after the command, it'll appear

Offtopic, but how does one "win" a roleplay tournament :)?

You win by RP fighting, it's sort of a turn based concept. It's much, much slower and more boring than the types of fighting you guys are used to, hah.

If arenas are a big thing, I think this feature becomes even more important.
