Digital painting recommendations
So I've been getting bored with the traditional pencil drawing and wanted to try something new. I've never digitally painted but it looks pretty rad from what I've seen. Now, here's the dealio. I want something simple, yet reliable. I don't want something with 500 different paint brushes, and this is what led me to inspire pro. It's only got a handful of brushes and settings and it looks pretty user friendly, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's the right app for me. Do all you digital painters out there have any recommendations that might turn out better than inspire pro?

damn.
now I gotta go jack some friends iTunes. |
Well I was kinda hoping you guys would give me reasons why it's better than inspire. Art studio was the first thing that I went to because 1. It's the most common app in the graal community and 2. I used to use it for pixel art sometimes so I'm familiar with it. I found inspire pro and I thought it looked better than art studio.
I also just downloaded the free version so I can tell if it's even worth buying the paid version for ten bucks |

Graphics tablets are expensive. If you have an iPad tho you can get cheap apps that will do the job pretty well. |
you can get a job too. graphics tablets can be as cheap as 60 bucks depending on the size.
