Wth but a guy from minnesota had ebola

Fysez 10-01-2014 02:11 PM

He apparently went to Africa for vacation, and was tested for fever before coming back to his home in the United States. He didn't have anything, and was flew back to the US. Three days later he was caught with high fever and said to have Ebola. It didn't show any signs of him having it until three days later.

IT'S HIDING FROM US DO YOU GUYS NOT REALIZE HOW MANY PEOPLE WERE ON THAT PLANE WITH HIM WE'RE ALL DOOMED

I'm probably going to get a lot of hate for saying this, but we honestly need to cut off any connection to Africa (including flight there, shipping there, supporting them, etc) until they get it resolved themselves. Nothing we can do but speed the process of everyone eventually getting Ebola like a whole new form of the death plague.

Maybe our conservative policies and 1960s styled government will scare the virus off.

Crono 10-01-2014 03:13 PM

Hey, atleast people can say they were totally ethical and on their moral highgrounds from letting these people roam around free and spread their disease. Should have locked down the areas infected, not tried to white knight them and send people there. What did you think was going to happen?

Dusty 10-01-2014 04:46 PM

I thought Ebola only spread through bodily fluids like contact with infected blood? WTH was that guy doing?

Apparently it's not contagious until signs of infection show.

He wasn't showing symptoms on the plane so the people on there are safe it's when he was in Texas was when he started showing symptoms.

But... isn't Ebola only transmitted via bodily fluids and stuff? Only real way to transmit it is to screw someone, drink their blood/spit/urine/feces.

It's still contagious in semen for like 2-3 weeks after someone is cured of it

Yeah but think about the amount of people who spit a bit as they talk or through sweat on hands that gets left on things and other people touch etc. It is easier than you think to spread body fluids.
