Identify Problems
 

Hello, I am having problems on Ol' West with my account on FB. The day before yesterday I was on Ol' West as one of the testers so without knowing, my account automatically identified to my facebook email address so I was fine with it until yesterday. Yesterday was the release of Ol' West for iOS and I was excited so as soon it was released I tried logging into my account through iOS to notice that the account was actually new. I look at my account on FB and it was perfectly fine and identified and my iOS device was identified with the same email but it acts like a different account. I tried contacting staff but it seems like they've been too busy since release so I decided to post here in hope of a solution.

Is the email your using to identify your 'primary' fb email?

Yes, it's the email I use to login to my fb account

I see the issue now.
You identified your account with the email you used for FB and it results in you losing your FB account for Ol West.

I also identified using my FB for Ol West and I tapped the 'Log in using Facebook' for my iOS and I got into my FB account.
Using the email that is the same as your FB will just create another new account due to it not being linked with the same emails(eg: Creating an FB account using a email).

I'll just get an admin to change my email.

I know what you mean, my facebook stqrts with hugop and my main one with hugo, for some reason it didnt logged to my facebook account but to my main one which starts with Hugo. Conclusion: It doesnt identify you with the email you use for facebook and no, you wont lose your account.

It's completely possible to change the identify email.
