Ventus birthday mask
 

So the Ventus birthday mask came out today, I was shocked to see that they ripped that mask of dead space 2 (The one isaac Clark used and it's on the game cover) how was this allowed? I thought uploading gfx that is copyright is against the rules?

Yeah it's a rip off, and also it's butt ugly..

"Report Staffs that uses copyright infringement in-game as it's not entirely allowed" etc.

They aren't ripping the mask from the game as it was made for graal by a graal player. Yes the concept is the same, but the deadspace company aren't going to care about it as it is not making profit.
Most companies only take copyright action if another company is using their concepts as their ideas, and selling them for money without mention of the original creators.
Besides, unless you work for visceral gaming why was there a need to make this thread? If you play deadspace then lucky you, now you can wear a hat of it, if not just don't wear it. It doesn't impact you so why question it

I thought the exact same thing when they released the turtle outfit that's clearly based off the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles...

That's kind of a hypocritical thing to say considering you're a staff and ALL graal servers enforce their "No Copyrighted Infringement" policy.

For player customs that you pay for

For player customs that you pay.. with in-game currency. Yes, some people buy packs to pay for their customs which generates some kind of revenue. But you got to think, not everyone buy packs and actually earn gralats from doing various jobs. but then again Graal as a whole is copyrighted from the old Zelda. And still with the upload rules enforced, some uploads do get through without notice. I honestly don't care about it, but if Graal is going to enforce something keep it that way. Don't try and twist the knot.

If your getting content why complain?

Because they have the right too considering Graals is enforcing that rule upon players but let staffs get away with it.

Ok but dont you guys think this a bit to much? It doesnt look exactly the same rather than graal players making the exact same thing from a show or something. Its content and iif your complaining about it than your probably a picky person.
