Anime Character(s) You Wish Got More Screen Time
 

Which characters in animes do you wish had gotten more screen time? Perhaps they are a side character of whom you have taken an interest in or a character that was originally a main character, but hasn't shown up for awhile. Here are some of mine off the top of my head:

Hinata (Naruto) - I always thought she was a great character that just didn't appear enough in the anime. Especially since the first pairing I ever shipped was Naruto and Hinata, I would have loved to see some romantic tension between them.

Mochizou (Tamako Market) - I feel like he didn't play a big enough role in the anime for being Tamako's childhood friend and being in love with Tamako. I haven't seen the movie, but I felt he needed more screen time.

Klein (Sword Art Online) - With Kirito being surrounded by women 24/7 it would be nice to see one of Kirito's good male friends join in once in awhile. I own Hollow Fragment and Klein is actually in the cutscenes quite frequently which when he is are funny.

Rukia (Bleach) - Rukia was one of the main characters for over 100 episodes, but then for whatever reason turned her into a side character for good portion of the series and only shows up in small battle scenes or fillers.

Index (Toaru Majutsu no Index) - You can see her name is even in the title of the anime. The first season Index did not get nearly enough screen time as she deserved seeing as she was a big focus in S1. They were better about it in S2, but it would have been nice to see her more in S1.

Ikr about hinata thats one thing i dont like in naruto is naruto is the stronger other ones even the kages suck front of him And its bored to see a fight then they talk and cry then rasengan then its finish i wanted to see more 2nd characters (Im talking about the TV show)

Most people don't really like Index in Toaru Majutsu no Index. They are all just fan boying over BiriBiri.

Aswell as the childhood friends thing. Most avid romance fans always know that it is rare to have the childhood friend route even touched, they always end up as a side character to help with main love interest. That's why we usually cheer for childhood friend even if it never comes through, screw that random transfer girl.

Would be nice to see that school president girl from Inou-Battle more often. Made such a huge impression in episode two and basically died out, never to return again.

There is also Angel Beats that I wished had more time to go over the story of each characters. However the anime was too short for that, but the VN is coming out soon with stories for every character, however long it'll probably take to translate it.

Clannad aswell, I wished for more Kyou and Tomoya time, however they went a different route, though there is already a green light for the Clannad VN to come out on Steam later on.

Rukia:
Pretty sure seeing her over 100 episodes doesn't really require he to receive more attention lol. Just because the soulbringer arc didn't allow much too see her really is nothing. Just you wait for the next arc with Quincy vs Reapers.

For Index I prefer you read the novels. Not screentime, but she is imaginative a lot throughout the story.

If you want more Hinata, then go watch last weeks double-feature filler.

Sheele (AgK)- the ONLY thing i like about the series was that badass sexy scissor action; but
Rize (Tokyo Ghoul)- another badass character

other than that, I cant think of any non-main character I like that needed more screen time. Many of my favorite characters are those side characters that you dont see much, but they dont need more screen time because they already have a unique and perfect fit into the show.

Future Trunks, really such a badass and I love how you can see both bulma and Vegeta in him.

Sinbad, he had good screen time in season one of Magi, and had an epic revolutionary changing finale that made him awesome. Then he was gone all of season two and left you wanting to see his awesome power again.

All the supporting characters in Toradora and Golden Time.

Lelouch needed more screen time in Code Geass.

Really ****in pissed me off how Kamina (Gurren Lagann) dies in like the 9th episode. I have never been more infuriated by an anime than I had when he died.

Sorata needed more screen time in Sakurasou too.
