Idea- Pure-ish social iphone server
 

Just an idea. Since iClassic does it so well without even trying, why not make an iphone server where the main focus is socialization? Furniture could be where the money is at in such a server. Furniture and maybe something I like to call "Personal Social Spaces". Personal Social Spaces are like upgraded, more flexible versions of houses. They come in multiple sizes, ranging from single levels to bigger than guild houses. You can turn them into thrift shops where you can sell hats, restraunt roleplay areas, all that kind of stuff.

The server could be set in multiple areas- a city, the surrounding suburbs, the sewers, and a huge mall. There is no killing or sparring, unless a player sets their personal social space to be a spar arena, in which case players can spar for fun with your usual classic swords. There could be an arcade in the mall, in which players can play multiplayer minigames, wether it be original ones for the server or old EUROCENTER iphone games like battle online and dinosmash. Additionally, in the city, there could perhaps be a casino.

So far I'm out of ideas, so I'll just ask for opinions now.

Sounds cool, id like if the main aspect could be role playing, because i personally enjoy that =).

Btw, I'm seriously trying to pitch this idea for someone to pick up and make a server from it. This isn't just a product of idle hands. I would appreciate it if someone used this idea and we got a good new iphone server out of it. I can't do it myself, so I really want someone else to at least.

When you only have a certain type of player on your game, it feels a lot staler. Even if the roleplayers on Classic never interact with PKers or sparrers, there's still an impact on their game. When you seperate the playerbase based on interest, the game loses a ton of diversity, which sucks. Because of this, I think Classic does the social server much better than a dedicated "social" game would. Also, Classic already caters heavily to the RP community and probably will continue to support them.

And don't forget, you'll probably have your fair share of of graal babies as well on that server.

Plus I'm not sure Classic is sustainable if you attempt to move all the players who are only interested in socializing or role playing elsewhere.

Why would I want to play on that server instead of Classic? That's pretty much what classic iPhone does, why make another server that would have to start fresh with new content?

Edit: OHHHHHH okay now that's what I should be suggesting! Modern Val-Styled roleplay server! Maybe more... softcore RP than Valikorlia though..... I'm not really into getting super-immersed and whatnot. I just want to pick up and play. No arranging, no huge-arse character sheets. A more visual combat system (which also would do hit/miss calculations and damage for you, making it less abusable in the hands of the childish). That kind of stuff.

Please tell me you can have an option to kill them and sell guns so i can create an elite swat team that dedicates itself tp killing dumb babies
