Gang name change
 

Quick question:

I WAS in a guild called 'NPC' and the leader was Stampy, that's his current IGN on Ol'West. A few days ago, I checked my joined guilds but, when I was scrolling through the names, NPC was no longer there - but instead, 'NPZ'

I searched the guild database for NPC and I found out that the owner was Monkey. I then asked Stampy why he changed the guild name, and he said it wasn't him - and that he had no idea why it was changed apart from the fact that Monkey owned it.

So yeah... It did say in Monkey's status that he created NPC 5 year years ago but, my question is - can guild names be changed just like that? Just because someone created it and they owned it ever since? And the poor guy didn't even get a refund, apparently. As far as i'm concerned, it wasn't breaking any rules so why would it just be changed like that without him knowing. Is that allowed?

I'm in Monkey's gang " NPC " :P

Well yeah he owned it in every server and he want it call that way " NPC = No Pants Club " So he continued owning that gang.

I know that..... I'm wondering why it was changed without the previous owner knowing and why he didn't get a refund. Read my question; it's the last paragraph.

You should ask Monkey ( Btw Monkey is an admin too, but idk if his an admin in Ol'West )

He does have an admin within his guild(player acc) I'm not sure if they can just go around changing guild names without reason... well for me, it's really unacceptable.

It looks to me as if he, or another member of staff, changed someone's guild name without them knowing whilst providing no refund to the player just because they wanted that guild.

Well to me, if i were an admin, i will ask them if they can change the guild name.

And ya the admin is iPink ( Player Acc ) and Monkey ( Idk if an admin in Ol'West as i mentioned earlier )

The previous owner didn't know why it was changed, therefore an admin changed it without permission from the owner whilst giving no refund.

They should have atleast given the old leader a refund, that's just my opinion though.

Yeah..... he created that guild with 2000 gralats; specifically the name 'NPC'. But since it's been changed to NPZ, he obviously doesn't want that - but he has no money to change it now.

I cant explain it. Possibly a admin not using his powers currectly. (Well in this circumstance there is a good chance that a admin did this).

An admin would've obviously done it. A player, who doesn't own the gang, cannot simply change the gang name. Lol....

And this is mainly directed at a member of staff or the person who changed the guild name, anyway - so don't worry if you can't explain it.

You're in the guild as well y'know. lol
