Checking Customs
I have uploaded quite a few graphics over the years, and I just feel there is a slight injustice when it comes to checking whether customs are fit for game usage.
Normally, my stuff looks fine; obeys the guidelines and I am happy with the speed in which my stuff gets accepted. However, I have had some that seem to have pixels out of place - that aren't transparent - usually my own fault, and sometimes there is a different shade on so-called "ready to upload" templates. I know it isn't required by these staff, but some of the ones that were accepted had massive areas (especially on heads) that clearly are not meant to be there. I just think this maybe should be better revised because younger players who buy gralat packs may not be able to repurchase the packs, or may not realize until after the 100% refund time is up. I just wanted to bring this to light for obvious reasons and that some people may loose money unfairly over this. Thoughts? #rantover *Mainly directed at amateur custom uploaders and younger players. |
they should learn about what they're spending their money on before they just push a button.

There's a full refund period of at least 24 hours post-approval. Should be enough time to notice any mistakes in all honesty.

Yeah, all I am saying is not a lot of people are aware of this. Maybe this should be included as part of the message when it's accepted. That's all...

Doesn't it have some kind of preview thing before accepting the purchase?

Isn't an upload only accepted based on an admins decision regarding if it follows or doesn't follow the upload guidelines? (I don't use uploads so I wouldn't know).
