What happened in GST? WHen I was a noob in the past, guilds like Essence, SLX and SNC and Apostles/WAR were good. But now all of em sucked. Essence in particular who got pwned by Immoral 2nd round.... And how is it that some like unknown guilds in mixed got to make it to 2nd,3rd or 4th place? Like honey or GRVTY? Idk about alumni tho.... and iDevice..... like I give a flock

It's because of since ALumni started winning, I think everything changed. :)

Weird how doubelift8 and colossus both come back at the same time, bit suspicious.

Anyways, I was in Honey and it was a last minute team so I am surprised we made it that far too.

And what happened was teams lost and other teams won. It's 2 spars on a particularly laggy day, it's not like it's unheard of for upsets. I mean look how you won an entire GST! You of all people should know how those guilds got there. Same way you did, upset after upset in the bracket, not cause they were better overall; they just happened to win.

Yep. Alumni just happens to be more consistent in beating the underdog teams than others. To be honest, teams like WAR and Essence and SNC and SLX are far better than the ones that made it to the semis. Upsets certainly happen. I'm sure if the spars weren't a best 2 of 3, or if the server had less than 4k players on, the outcome would be different.

quick question: when is the winter gst cuz I heard rumors that its been moved to March?, so idk if its true or not

Pretty sure it's going to be on the last weekend in February.
