what to do when you don't know what to do?

y0, guys, without getting too cheesy and ****, can you guys tell me what you do when you are stuck with something that you cannot resolve? im trying to finish come calc homework and i just cant figure out the answer. there are some **** in calc that only work out once. i figured out the answer for question 2, but the rules doesn't seem to apply for the other questions (not for me anyway).

anyway, ive been chilling out the the last hour trying to "refresh'' my brain, cos apparently taking a break from work improves your productivity. personally, i dont believe in that ****, but im willing to be open minded and try some yoga **** (or whatever).

ive tried these so far:

listened to this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=44O_J8jJnpg

ive attempted a few writer's block remedies, bcos i feel like this is the math equivalent of a writer's block.

ive tried other things too, but theyre too lame and not worth mentioning.

edit:

im not asking u guys to do my homework for me, i just want to know what you guys do when you are stumped with homework (what inspires you etc).

I'm not sure if it would help other people or not but, the playlist that is linked in my signature always helps me do better no matter what I'm doing.

maybe try looking up educational math help websites and such and do some studying on the topic of your homework.

Something that takes me all out of my comfort zone. Random public strip, random strip in front of family, talk really loud to myself in grocery markets, acting really interested in something I don't gafa, street art, installation art, play classic+......sit in the middle of random sidewalk..spontaneous seemingly chaotic humor to lighten myself up.

Ah, the lovely Calculus. One thing you can try for future reference is downloading the app for Mathway. Then, there are some videos on YouTube that show you how to get free premium membership on your device. I believe the iFunbox tutorial is appropriate for iPhones/iPods. Anyways, it's really not that hard. With Mathway premium membership you can see step by step how to solve the problem. Also, if you didn't want to do this I believe you can get a free 1 day trial for Mathway on your computer by liking it on FaceBook. This helped me follow through with my homework and such.

Edit: Like Becca said, music is also a great way when you're stuck on homework. I personally prefer instrumental music as singing tends to interfere with my thought process.
