Spider-Man coming to the Avengers Universe
 

All of my nerdy dreams just came true. Spider-Man is my favorite superhero and now he can be with Captain America!

Ah, I hope they keep Andrew Garfield.

No kidding. I honestly think he is the coolest Spider-Man yet. Not nearly as nerdy as Peter Parker but he makes Spider-Man look so much cooler.

Yeah and that's why some people don't like him, Hipster Peter Parker, etc. I think it is a lot more effective than having the stereotypical nerd, since it's not like that in reality. But I get the feeling he will be replaced for the sake of it.

I don't think so, Stan Lee picked Andrew himself, and the whole cast love him.

I'm still all for the idea of Donald Glover playing Spider-Man.

And Michael Cera as Shaft.

Electro was pretty cool too. I think Andrew is the best fit though.

I thought Jamie Foxx did a remarkable job as Electro in Amazing Spiderman 2. Honestly couldn't care less whether or not he actually resembled Electro with how well he did.

Andrew Garfield has been one of my favorite actors since The Social Network, I feel the character really fits his personality. I never liked the nerdy Peter Parker stereotype.

Yeah. When i heard they changed him from a white guy in a green and yellow suit, i was bummed.
But Jamie Foxx is one of my favourite actors now and i watched it in 3d, he did an amazing job.

He was also great in White House Down.

Miles Morales of the new Ultimate Spider-Man comics is black as well, and Donald Glover looks almost exactly like him.

If they're going to do a reboot, they might as well do it properly because I really don't care to sit through Peter Parker's origin story for the third time in a row.

I think it's interesting to see Marvel being willing to mix things up a bit, and they have already established that their characters live in multiple universes. That alone gives them enough creative license to basically do whatever they want with each hero or villain, as superheroes are often readily identified by their powers and visual appearances, and not just by the individual people themselves.
