Renaming Tower Guilds suggestions
Just random thing that popped in to my head while towering with SLX early of this week. Any tower guilds with more than 100 hours or 1000 hours shouldn't be allowed to rename their guilds in my opinion. There's more harms done than goods.
I do recall a guild, I think it was Voyage? I am not honestly sure about this. But there was a 1k guild taken to another leader and got renamed to get a 1k hat. It was caught and given back to the original leader. I think. So renaming guilds over 100 hour is rather seems suspicious to me. I assume there's well over 150 guilds that have reached/nearly reaching 1000 hours for their hat. I can just rename one of it and nobody will even notice it. Building upon that idea, I think we should list every 1k+ guild lists on the Graalians. (Or somewhere in the game) And should include have they gotten their 1k/5k/10k stuff yet? If so, include their hat image and date too. What do you guys think? |
not being able to rename after 100 hours seems a bit too far
but the not renaming after 1000 hours rule could be a way around people cheating the system for 1k hats |

The guy who was in control of leading SLX tower guild left. Although he deserved to have the guild and did the most of the work, still SLX members contributed some. I was one of them, and now I don't even know where that guild went. Nobody in SLX knows actually. but yeah im still cool with 1000 hours guilds gets disabled from renaming. if they need to rename their guild, they gotta talk to admins and get permission. Also comes with an update of list of 1k guild chart. |
If a random guild appeared with 1,000 hours and got a hat, people would notice lol. Especially the hardcore towerers and they would report/contact an administrator about it.

But still having a list of every 1k guilds somewhere would be nice. |

Its no longer possible (since 2012) to get other guilds' hours by stealing guild names. A long time ago, guild hours were tied to the guild name; now guild hours are tied to the owner's account (i think). so renaming a guild doesnt reset hours; nor can you magically get hours by stealing guild names anymore.

But yes, guild hours transfer with the guild. That creates the problem. |
