Ive seen multiple live hypnosis shows where a dozen people volunteer before hand, and they do several scenes.

One of the main things is focusing on the therapists voice and blocking out other sounds. And ya, they always do the same breathing exercises to get you relaxed. Usually before the therapist starts talking, theres a bright light and/or calm music to focus on.

Hypnosis can't be induced by watching a video. There are actual techniques that have to be performed on someone who is a willing subject for it to even work.

Do some reading about it. It's both fascinating and slightly terrifying.
