Hello guys. I am making a Graal Pro League. GPL is going to hold any professional Graal tournaments such as Single spar, Tag team and Guild spar. I haven't set up any details yet, but every events will be recorded and reviewed. The detailed results will be posted on Wikia and Youtube. At the end of each season, the winner of each divisions will receive a prize. The amount of the prize hasn't been decided yet. There's no entry fee, but when you enter, your in game profile/information will be posted on a third party website (Wikia).

Before I go any further with this, I just want to know how many people are interested? Any suggestions?

Just a fresh updates: I am going to use Challonge for randomizing the Tournament Brackets. I'm using Wikia, cause there is a search engine at the top.
And any series hosted by referees are accepted as well, it will count as the official points. If a player is not suitable to the regulation, the points will be wasted.

At least 1000 spar wins. You can be negative and still join.
Going to be setting up more rules though

Bump and just some updates:
I have been working on creating and organizing tables. I am doing a test version of this once I am ready to go. You have to probably wait for another week or so.

Special types of Tournaments
For the Tournaments, sometimes I will throw in some restrictions like 'idevice only', 'US players only', 'Negative only' type of thing. It will cycle around so it would give a chance to players that are good in a certain condition. But for the most part it will be just open for all. (It's just an idea)

Results will be posted on Wikia + Youtube - will be all saved, can be searched by anyone too
Every result will be posted to a page and it will be linked from the main page and the completed tournament results will be protected and locked permanently, meaning nobody can edit it except myself.

The point system
The point system will be implemented. Point system applies differently for every event. So let's have an example for a regular tournament. If you get advanced by default you get 3 points, if you win you will receive 5 points, if you lose you will get 1 point. Top 3 winners of the tournament gets some extra points.

Spar Series point system
But it's different for series version. If you challenge someone to a series and let's pretend that you lost by 10-6. The winner will gain 10 points, the loser will get 6 points. In series, every win will count towards as a point. So if you series someone to a hundred, you are getting a chance to get a hundred points. So series is a most definite way to get a lot of points.

Spar challenges repeating?
You can challenge anyone that's qualified as many time as you want, as long as it's not a boosting, then that would be fine.

What happens if somebody forfeits during a match or a series?
If it happens during the tournament match, the other player will get advanced by default.
If somebody forfeits during the series, it will end there, you will not lose any points and it still count it as a series. The result still will be posted to a page where I keep all my records and it will be viewable to the public.

Total points for the season
The points will be combined and adds all up to the total points. The winner will receive a prize.

I hope you go through with this, we have GST, but I would like to see some serious player guilds.

We do have the GST, but after the GST spar kind of dies out. The other day Skull was desperately want to challenge people for fun, but there weren't anybody that wants to accept his challenge.

To attract people, I am going to do what Essence did. I'll put iTunes gift card as a prize, but the only problem is that if you are a foreign, I have to give you something else.

I also have to push back Guild Spar division. Not sure how to manage this one for the prize too.

Everyone has Steam...get them a Steam gift card.

I will see. first I have to get things running correctly in the first place and might have to let the winner decide for their prize.

Damn 1000 is a lot.

I would be interested in this especially with a Negative only type of tournament.
