Younger Admins

Many of us seem to think that Classic has 12-15 year old admins. Why do you assume this? Is this bad?

Do you think Graal Classic should look more at age rather than maturity?

Answer in the poll: should there be an age limit for applicants? Why do you think so?

Crono 05-30-2015 03:56 PM

Age is just a quick indicator, in reality maturity and attitude matter more. Just imo of course.

Colin 05-30-2015 03:58 PM

They assume that because when they act stupid and get banned it's their go to excuse, obviously maturity is more important than age.

I think the age limit should be 15-16 but I am pretty sure a majority of GP's are that age or older anyways

I do agree however that yes, some GP's are generally really immature and dumb but they always get dealt with accordingly

I would rather say that it would be a test on maturity, and age does matter a bit, Mostly they should find people above 15+ or if they're mature enough and they're below 15 they could be even hired.
Many of these admins are now just "Fame Chasers" as I would like to call it, Classic was once great, But sometimes they should just do some sort of test, in-order to let them go in. Depends on age, sometimes not.

I think there should be a Age Limit within those admins, Since most of them seems to try to act mature.
Not Including those admins whom i really love. <3

Easy to lie about your age on the internet.

If maturity is more important than age, then why do they still need to have an age limit?

Sicx 05-30-2015 04:03 PM

Age matters showing how long a person has experienced life. Yes, they need to be mature. I don't think anyone would like to be told by a 14 yo honestly. Age is definitely important in my opinion

They could include something such as a video call if something about age was implemented.

Sardon 05-30-2015 04:07 PM

staff =14 + mature players.
Age is a number you can find 18 year olds that act like a 12 year old

Not going to go into a heavy debate here but I just personally think given the demands and requirements of the job we shouldn't be letting really young people do it for multiple reasons because of things like stress and the harassment/hate that can come with it they are more vulnerable to that sort of stuff at younger ages

15-16 age limit is pretty low anyways,

Just because it's more important doesn't mean the other factor doesn't matter at all

I don't think I've met a 12 year old who acts like an 18 year old though. But yes, as it happens age is a number.

Idk man, just seems like bureaucracy. Think it should be down to maturity, especially since, as Rufus pointed out, anybody can lie about their ages.

Fair point, guess it's easy to see who crash and burns and who doesn't anyways and I know most users wouldn't feel comfortable sharing personal information to identify their ages but maturity is also something someone can lie about.

Guess hiring GP's is a hit or miss type of situation

pacman 05-30-2015 04:36 PM

Maturity is important, experience is more important, and I'm sure a younger person will not have that.

What Colin wrote right now is bias, as he's age is literally 15/16
