Small Status
 

Is it just me, or does it seem like you can't add much in your status at all anymore? It may be just me, but I tried adding a quote into my status (they're both small quotes) and I couldn't fit the second one in my status. Is the amount of words you can put in your status being limited just an issue for me or is everyone having the same problem?

I haven't noticed a difference. A lot of the time the formatting takes up the a fair amount of the space, are you changing the font/size/color a few times?

I honestly wish there was some sort of scrolling functionality for statuses and guild news so that I could fit more characters in there

their is a limit on the amount of Characters you can place on it which sucks :(

My font size is nine, it just seems like only a surprisingly small amount of words can go in there now.

It doesn't really matter what size you set it to. Setting the size takes up a bunch of extra characters as does changing the font, color and adding images or backgrounds. The more formatting you have in your status the less you will be able to add to it.

Statuses employ a character limit, not a physical size limit. So:

Will be 16 characters in length. However:

Will be 36 characters in length, but still visually smaller than the former, even though all you see is:

Hello, I'm JayC!

Plz change it to the latter.

There's nothing to change... he was just explaining HTML and character limits.

I like the idea of scrollable profiles and guild profiles. It would add an indefinite amount of space to add stats (limited space being one of the reasons we don't add new ideas to profiles). There would still need to be status character limit, but a higher limit would be great.

Limit is probably characters in order to limit the amount of data being transferred.

I dont think we need unlimited space but we should have enough room for 14 lines
