Chat problems/broken chat
 

hello graalians,this thread is mostly focused towards hire staff on ol west
recently today i logged on and noticed no one was typing at start
or so i thought, i tried to type but nothing showed up. so i told a couple players and then asked shiz. shiz helped alot and told me to change to font to arial i personally do not like this font better than the normal font but it is the only way i can see words at the moment.

Hoyt,Green ale,Alpho please try to figure this out all the other players say they can see my chat and see ther own chat, but i cannot see any chat please help

Sounds like you might have a problem with the default font used on Ol' West, "Playbill" I believe. If it suddenly just stopped working you should check and make sure you still have the font installed. You could also try reinstalling the font in case it somehow became corrupted.

As Hoyt said, this can be a problem when the font is not installed some how or is corrupted. Instead of re-installing the font, you can also just use "arial", which is a more basic font. You can do this by tapping on your player, tap on "Edit", and then "Options". Scroll down to find "Font Change", it should be one of the top options. Make sure that option has a Check Mark next to it, and then close out of the windows. After that, you should be good!

When O'l west started few weeks after its release,I had no words when I typed and pressed done.Later I redownloaded O'l west and everything was okay,It only happened once more after this.But,Nothing like this happened since.

to my surprise i deleted the app and re downloaded it and now my font is working thanks :)

This has started happening to me. Everytime I delete the game and re-install it, it just wants to spaz out and mess the font, not seeing what people are saying ect

Happens to me all the time, I either have to reconnect for it to come back, or completely reinstall it. It's extremely annoying, but doesn't happen to often so I don't have to deal with it much.

The exact same happened to me!
