My computer!:(

Help me, please! I was on graal classic on my computer and it wouldn't load. So I decided to go do something else and when I looked over at my computer I saw that the screen was blue and it says:

"A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer.

Modification of system code or a critical data structure was detected.

If this is the first time you've seen this stop error screen, restart your computer. If this screen appears again, follow these steps:"

(I don't want to type the rest.)

How do I restart my computer? My mouse and keyboard are in my dad's room and he's sleeping. I tried to press the off button on my computer but it didn't work. My computer screen is blue and I read online that that's very bad. :'(

Is all my stuff lost? At the bottom of the screen it says

"collecting data for crash dump ...
Initializing disk for crash dump ...
Beginning dump of physical memory.
Dumping physical memory to disk: 100."

My dad will get mad at me if he finds out about this. I haven't had any anti-virus things on my computer for around 2 years. Please someone help me. Should I unplug the computer? :(

As from what u have read on the forums today, graal server crashed.

Jellybeans 07-23-2015 04:57 AM

My computer screen is blue, though. :(

I think that was mentioned as a symptom from someone else as well.

Im pretty sure its from the crash.

Jellybeans 07-23-2015 04:59 AM

Will my computer be okay? :'(

Nep 07-23-2015 05:05 AM

I think so xD Its the graal page thats screwed i assume.

Jellybeans 07-23-2015 05:13 AM

I don't know what to do. :( Could someone please tell me if I should unplug my computer or not? I've googled it and I can't find anything.

You can hold the power button down for a few seconds, but you should make absolutely sure that it's done doing what it's doing.

Jellybeans 07-23-2015 05:40 AM

I held down the power button for 5 seconds, it made a pretty loud noise (it startled me), the screen shut off, and I turned it back on. There were options like "start in safe mode" "start in safe mode online" and "start windows normally". I chose to let it start up normally.

But now my computer is making sounds that sound like very quiet thunder or snoring. My computer now looks normal, but it doesn't sound normal. :(

Lmao it's a freaking curse.

Spirit19 07-23-2015 07:22 AM

Yeaaa. I don't know what the noises would be. Perhaps it could be your hard drive. My grandma's sounded like a coffee maker at one point. It had to much stuff on it and needed BAD defraging. Can you pinpoint the location of the sound at all?

Was Graal DDoS'd again?

Why do so many people wanna DDoS Graal?

It was the Blue screen of death.Just restart your PC and it will be all fine...if you still get it,go for the system restore.

You can do it by booting your system with a DVD of the windows you are using.

If the problem still persists, you have a hardware malfunction.

Sounds like a messed up fan, or worse-case scenerio, your hard drive going bad. A messed up fan is easy to fix and could be causing overheating issues and causing a bsod(blue screen of death), However a faulty hard drive is a bigger issue. Either way this issue needs to be addressed by your parents, and neither would be an issue you caused, just hardware failing.

@Jellybeans 90% of blue screen of death is caused by hardware faliure.Try to replace your HD and see if the PC works fine.
