Change In Graal Classic ! RPS Tournaments ...
 

This is my very first forum post , but you might know me as Q-Tip a baddy killer . I recently watched PrinceJeffyPS3 video of Graal change , and I agree with one thing . I watch these threads and you all talk about change but don't tell Graal specific details of it . I have had tons of ideas of playing this game , but I want one specifically .

RPS Tournaments

I wanted a RPS Tournament for noobs like me who can't spar worth of anything . It could happen every season similar to GST and you earned a hat or award . I don't know how Graal would do it , but we could have a guild against guild RPS . You could make it an event that admins do which I haven't seen an event in ages . I mean GST is good and I know great sparrers , but me as a noob everyone needs to be able to participate in this and could . Even the no statters in Graal City , who sits there and turns it into "Lag City" . Yeah , but do you guys think this is a good idea ?

This should be an event like quick tourney from UN, quick rps tourney.
Definetly not an actual tournament, since staff would need to know who are the best rpsers. Aguzo (1337-0)

Anyways, what some people will state because they are "scientists"/paranoid theorists of graal.

"rocks cause lag"
"papers cause lag"
"scissors' cause lag"

It was stated in my tier/gs thread by "scientists"/paranoid lag theorists.

stop posting "lag" everywhere it's not funny.

i don't think rps really deserves a leaderboard as it is something that could be boosted and is really insignificant. i don't think beating a few people in a rps tournament makes you worthy of recieving your own hat. i don't care what some people say about rps being a skill based game, it really isn't and there can be no "best rps player" to win this tournament and get a prize.

if you really want to have fun with rps, gather your friends and host your own little tournament, farm your own gralat prize if you'd like. rps is fun without an incentive to play it, eddy and i did it 200 times in a row a few weeks ago and whenever i see someone using it i challenge them and get addicted.

still this is the most reasonable idea i've seen in a while good job i guess but i personally don't like it.

So you want to make a tournament based on luck/manipulation? LOL.

lol, imagine if people started calling certain rps people "boosters" just like in spar to get a good ratio.

If staff had a dedicated staff team, then there would be a lot more events. They could probably include a quick rps tourney.

not sure how i'm stalking when q-tip just said he noticed the same thing.
the "lag" posts are irrelevant spam, not funny, and should only ever be posted on ideas that would actually hurt the server way more than help. a simple "event" idea as suggested in this would not explode the server and i don't see where that invites lag-related posts. also would like to just repeat myself in saying that i do not support this idea as it is in no way a skill-based competition, but i do appreciate that it is trying to make rps a relevant thing again, which it isn't.

You didn't get it ... I never said for RPS to be skilled base . It could be like for noobs like me who would never have a chance in sparring . Everything doesn't have to be skilled ... this isn't pk or spar , but at the same time I can see were you are coming from with this .

This may be irrelevant but admins are lacking on hosting events, I have not seen an event taking place for ages. Also, not long ago they where spamming the broadcast on they needed new admins. It seems to me they are very few left of them, how many exactly?
