GST (Alumni)

What makes this team so good?
Who on this team is replaceable?
How long can their streak last?
Do they know something everyone else doesn't?

Oh God.

What makes this team so good? They practice a lot.

Who on this team is replaceable? Everyone, as long as the person replacing them practices a lot, too. It's all about just sparring many times, and in turn becoming a better sparrer.

How long can their streak last? As long as they continue practicing and being better than everyone else at sparring/guild sparring.

Do they know something everyone else doesn't? Nope.

Who on this team is replaceable? All of them, the endless possibilities thanks to their experienced members makes them hard to beat
How long can their streak last? most likely another year or two
Do they know something everyone else doesn't? no

They honed their lag
The non-laggers
69 more times
They have a special type of foil that they put over their routers

I'll give serious answers before this thread's inevitable downfall

What makes this team so good?

just older/mature members who seem to want to win a lot so they all cooperate and do what's necessary

Who on this team is replaceable?

anyone who has a poor attitude towards other members or anyone who isn't active enough during the month of the GST

How long can their streak last?

should be losing any time now just based on the fact that our team remains unchanged while other teams have the option of recruiting more or better players together to compete against us

not really

The alumni idev team simply has a mature / good player team who have practiced a lot in the last and know how to play together ... I don't think there is any secret to it
The only thing I've noticed they do that other teams don't is change each other's names around so people don't really know who they are sparring to confuse people slightly

did this with Eko twice now just as sort of a troll, not sure if it actually affects the outcome of spars but it's probably frustrating at least

I think it kinda does , because for my self I know I use different ways to spar epennding on who I'm sparring , therefore using the wrong technique for the wrong person could prove to be disadvantageous

Neil 08-03-2015 10:05 AM

They have people who spar the most in the game. They have people who don't join other teams.
