With that money get a surface pro 3 i7 128gb model. It's easily the best tablet around. Has amazing build quality. It's both a tablet and a computer, runs full windows 8.1 (and you can upgrade to Windows 10 for free).

Take my advice I have been studying this for months.
I ended up buying an ipad air 2 BUTTTTTT Only cause I didn't have a lot of money to spend. You should probably wait a few months, since there is rumor that an ipad PRO will be released this year. If you want one right now, with your money I would get the surface pro 3. Don't bother with the surface 3 (the small version of pro), because it has watered down hardware. If you are looking for a gaming tablet, get the nVidia Shield Pros and Cons Microsoft Surface Pro 3 It's a computer, and a tablet, so you don't have to buy a pc later on Very portable Bigger screen than the other tablets Supports Adblock Apple Ipad Air 2 Fastest tablet when compared to android tablets (IOS tablet) More companies add apps to ios, since it's only one brand The resolution isn't that great for crunchyroll, since crunchyroll only goes up to 1080p With the next ios update you can have split-screen, but only certain apps Doesn't support adblock Has an anti-reflective coating on the display (reduced sun/light glare) nVidia Shield Tablet A Power house gaming tablet Supports 4k resolution Comes with an hdmi port so you can hook it to a 4k tv/monitor Uses the "Shield app" that has a ton of cool games You can stream to twitch with it's integrated camera + features You can stream games from your pc, and run on tablet Tablet has NVIDIA Tegra K1 192 core Kepler GPU Controller requires a separate purchase (recommended for gaming) Baterry life isn't that amazing, but apparently Android 5.0 Lollipop helps it a bit, plus when you game you can just have it plugged in |
