new things to do
 

hello,
I have been playing ol west since the week after it came out and have loved the server more than any other ever since.
but over the last couple of months it has just been seeming boring to me...
Pking and sitting in a base for GP is boring to me.

i was thinking that this server needs new things to spice it up like era has events often, good trades cause there is rare items and such.
they have the arcade,skate park and multiple things to do that is much fun and can keep people interested for long periods of time,
Things that could make ol west more fun and a more active server.
1.Bot events
2.Horse racing
3.kayak racing
4.like messiah said in one of his threads, showdowns and street spar
5.(this one is a little edgy) but like obstacle courses or something like that. it would be where you would have to like walk on tight ropes and maybe like fight tough npcs or something like that
6.furniture-add statues,item furniture and alot more furniture that people could use to build events,item shops,museums,fashion shows etc. in there house

of course these are just some of my ideas on how to make ol west more active and fun
please give feedback and ideas you may have, dont be afraid to say your ideas

I love the idea of kayak racing, maybe it could be a bot event hosted one time an hour or something...good ideas I hope they get added!

Some events from era I would like to see on ol west.
-Classic killers
-Hunted
-Last man standing
-Musical chairs
-Rush
-Spar tourney

I would love to see something that isn't event related like how classic used to have CTF that u could play whenever you wanted and if you won you got like ten gralats but people usually just played it cause it was fun and gave you something to do I'm not saying copy classic and have CTF but I mean is like a mini game type feel that gives you something to do when bored.

How about a minigame you can play when ever. Bandits Vs. Sheriffs. Theres 5 players on each side of the map when a player dies they are out for the round. The sheriff have to protect the money stash and kill all the bandits while the bandits are trying to get the money and escape. There would be a big pile of cash on the ground near the sheriffs to take it a bandit has to grab it and hold the grab for 5-10 seconds then return it to there area. Then the Bandits would win. If all the bandits die the sheriffs win.

CTF but the flag is the money pls.

I'm really liking all of your ideas these would be great to spice Ol' West up.
What kind of furniture would help you guys in making your own events?

Yes we do need to spice things up.
furniture
like fences in era that can rotate
word furniture like a furniture thats a flat box and u can add a letter to it and buy more to make a word and just tiny things that could make fun races or obstacles.

a start flag and a finish flag for races.....Chance blocks and um furniture rotation would be nice :)

Do the fences do anything special?
Alright, sounds good. I agree on the furniture rotation, but that would be a huge project for the graphics team making three other rotated versions of each furniture on the server. Most of them have their hands full right now to take on such a big project. It would definitely be nice too have in the future though.

Let me know if you guys have any other ideas like that kind of stuff. Especially dealing with furniture. I'm really excited to see what kind of stuff you guys would come up with if we gave you the right tools you guys want and need.

If u make chance blocks a furniture for houses put an option on it so first one to click it wins and people cant keep clicking it so u lose who actually won race so then we could host are own events in are houses or maybe whoever grabs end flag first their name pops up above the flag and one last thing a box type furniture that when grabbed it says a random number so we see who to let in the waiting area we can have in houses or kick if neccesary

(Just to give players something to do and make houses have another purpose)

nonono not all furniture only the fences... just so like u could build boxes or pathways etc.

Furniture should have layers like on Era. Sometimes I want to put a candle above my table but it goes below it and can be really frustrating. If you put the table as layer 1 and the candle as layer 2 it would be much easier to decorate your home. Also gang houses! We need gang houses
