Nickname Idea
 

So i had an idea while sitting in the shower this evening.

In a game where everyone is constantly changing their player name, why not have an option to give people nicknames on your friends list?

Example:

I add someone named Bob to my friends list.

Bob decides he wants to be funny and change his name to P0K3M0N M4ST3R while i'm offline.

I log in and see someone on my friends list named P0K3M0N M4ST3R and i have no idea who that is :(

But-- If we implemented nicknames on our friends lists, i can type "Bob" and no matter what Bob changes his name to, i always see "Bob" on my friends list.


I dont know how feasible this idea is. But i think it would be a cool feature.

Someone had this idea already and made a thread about it, giving other players nicknames on yoyr friends list would be quite entertaining and easy to keep track of whose who.

I think we should go one step further and make everyone register a community name that displays in their profile. That way I can stalk people over time without being confused.

yeah we need something that represents an individual aside from personal graphics which can be stolen and get re-uploaded.

true my friends keep naming themselves Player and unknown and idk who they are!!!

exactly. i know like 20-30 players with over 100k pks and 10k spars and they ask me if i remember them. lol smh
