How are you playing Classic?

Right now it should be work better on mobile Devices and Facebook. Playing via classic.graalonline.com will have some issues.

You may have to flush your DNS or reset your network settings.

Help on flushing DNS can be found here.

After doing this, if you still have issues let me know.

Should do the trick :)

Flushed my DNS, but it did not do the trick :(

Still getting d/c. Could it be the side effects of what happened on Saturday?

Rufus 09-07-2015 01:50 PM

Side effect of 'ddos protection' more like.

When was ddos protection added ? Knowing unixmad it must be some cheap ass program because a 16-18 year old kid called Ben can take down the server in less than 5 mins ....

16-18 year old kids have taken down organizations that are a lot larger.

Zetectic 09-07-2015 05:33 PM

that was why connecting to graal was a lot slower than usual.

Yes they have , however try did not achieve this using low orbit ion cannon whereas Ben probably did.

The server provider typically puts up 'protection' when there's an incident or null-routes the server. If there was an incident on Saturday then they're likely filtering the connection to the server which is causing all the issues everyone is experiencing.

The reality of the situation is that it's (unfortunately) easy and inexpensive to attack but defending yourself from the attacks can be significantly harder and more costly.

We hope to see the server moved to another provider who can deal with the attacks better soon. It is being worked on it's just being done carefully to try and avoid as much as issues as we can with the migration to a new server/provider.
