Upon gaining the knife, you would be set into the tutorial, a long training process. First, using the knife given you would have to kill 50 rats running around. Harder then it sounds, because each rat has 20 health points and are level 2, runs around like crazy and if attack bites you constantly, each bite dealing 3 damage. (You have 50 health to start out. You gain 10 health every time you level up. The level up system will be explained later.) If you die, you will have to re-enter the room. All the rats will still be there as you left. Every rat drops a different looking key. Once you kill all of the rats you have to unlock a door by using all of the keys in any order on it. In the next room you will be taught your first skill.
All skills require Mana. You start out with 100 mana. You gain 5 mana every level. The first skill will be taught to you by an old professor named Mr. Willowberg. He will teach you how to cast an enchantment on monsters. This will basically allow you to freeze a monster for 3 seconds. You would only be able to use this skill every 3o seconds.
Then he will direct you to a room with 2 dirt golums with 30 health. They will be level 3. (10 health per level for monsters). You have to use the Enchanment spell and your War Blade to kill them. Watch out though, when they aren't enchanted they do pretty strong attacks, even for level 3 monsters.
After you kill the golums Mr. Willowberg will walk up to you and hand you a longsword. (Not gfxed yet). This does 9 damage. He will tell you that he unlocked the doors to the next room, and to talk to Ms. Robin.
Upon meeting Ms. Robin she tells you she lost her wedding ring! Some sneaky possessed gnomes had stolen them, she said. You are instructed to head up to the top of Mount Illmore and kill the gnomes until you find the ring for a nice reward.
Once you have done this she gives you a set of armor. this includes a metal helmet and the rest is chainmail.
Once equipping this, the tutorial is over. She asks if you would like to go to Jatimine, the city. You can either say yes and get transported there or say no and stay a bit longer (for whatever reason.. iunno why you would do that).
When you enter Jatimine you discover the entrance is guarded by two heavy men. (not fat, just muscly). They tell you only people who have killed 10 ivory golems can enter. You must set out to kill them. Once done, they let you into Jatimine.
Once in Jatimine, a man walks up to you. He says:
"Hey young adventurer! Listen... see that girl over there? I have a HUGE crush on her but im too nervous to give her these flowers! Can you give these to her for me and say theyre from me? My names Jasper by the way. If you give them to her I'll let you keep this egg I found! I wonder whats inside.."
You gain flowers and give them to the girl. He gives you the egg and tells you you should probably find a warm place to lay it so it hatches.
Upon that you should head to the gardens (very nearby) and theres a nest. Put the egg in there and shortly it will hatch into a baby dragon! You can raise this by feeding it meat dropped by local monsters. Once it reaches teen years it will follow you around and fight for you. After it reaches adulthood, you can use it as a mount and it will still fight for you! Things it can do are like breathe fire and claw and such skills (it gains more as it gets older).
I'm not really sure beyond this except it would have a lot of quests by npcs, and probably more mounts and such, along with just regular pets and such. You would be able to make your own 'city' by gathering at LEAST 10 people and forming a guild (different then classics guild) then paying 10k gralats (obtained by killing monsters and doing quests). You will be given a large open space where you can buy buildings such as a weapons market (the weapons would have your guilds name on it!) and little houses for your guild members. These would not be on map, but you COULD invite players other then guild members.
Now I will talking about levels.
You start at level 1 with 100 exp to gain. After killing enough monsters you can level up and gain skills and things like intelligence, dexterity, magic and stuff (normal MMORPG stuff) which make you able to gain specific skills and do specific quests.
You gain 100 needed EXP every time you level up :P
So level 20 would be 2000 exp needed.
Level 1000 would be 100,000 exp needed (100 possbly highest you can go?)
