Gang Points
I've always wanted to see this implemented into Era iPhone ever since I saw Era implement it into their Gang System. The main reason for this implementation is that I see the current gang system as pretty pointless; you go and get a good spar ratio or take a good amount of hours at bases, then what? Sit there and talk about "how many hours your gang has" or "how many wins you have over your losses in spar?" I would love to see this system implemented so that when you do something that goes toward your gang- it would actually go towards something, rather than just a variable in your stats/the db that you can "show off" to everyone. Now, I'm guessing your next question would be: "What all can we do with these 'Gang Points'?" Well, let me list off a few basic things I had in mind. - Extra Member Spots
I know a lot of people have been wanting this for awhile because they're always agitated at the current limit (25) and they wish to expand.
- Extra Ally Spots
Never can get enough allies, now can you? =p
- Gang Outfit
I've seen some gang hats around (ex: Obsidian 1K hat) but wouldn't it be nice if you could purchase a gang outfit for your gang? (Members would have to be in the gang to wear the outfit; once kicked it would be removed from their inventory.) I always think it's nice to see gangs run around in their little "customs" and I think this would clean it up a lot instead of going through around 300,000 gralats JUST for a "gang head" for 15 members.
- Gang Gun
Now, this is one thing that I would be most excited for; this would be the cost the most amount of points, but it would work just like the Gang Outfit. A member wants to quit? His access to the gang gun is revoked. This would also have a limit to what all you could use as your gang gun; I would hate to see a gang running around with a 25dmg RPG.
- Gang Armory
I know many players have been asking for this for awhile; so why not implement it right along with the gang point system? It would be used for storing weapons and other items. If you leave the gang/are kicked, all of your items you borrowed from the armory will be withdrawn from you and added back into the armory. The original owner of the item and the owner of the gang are the only two that can withdraw items permanently. This would also appear as an additional right so the owner of the gang can choose who he/she wants in the Armory and who he/she doesn't.
Okay, part B; how do we gang "Gain Points?" Gang Points would be able to be achieved by a variety of tasks; let me list a few for example.
- Taking and Holding a Base
This is already implemented into iEra, but these would be counted toward Gang Points as well as that "fancy counter" on your gang page. I don't really have to go in-depth with this since it is already on iEra. (I hope...)
- Gang Sparring
This is implemented into iEra as well... Basically, x amount of spar wins would get you x amount of Gang Points. =p
- Gang Missions
I believe this is what would interest everyone the most; Gang Missions. What am I talking about exactly? Well...

No i mean like "Collect a group of 5 friends and rob a bank, killing 50 enemy npc's".

As I mentioned before, this is just a base. This would also take a hella lot of work from the developers, but I believe it would payoff overall. If I can think of more things to improve this, I'll add them here.
Feedback, anyone? =o
