A messenger app
 

Graal on iOS has been around for 4 years, at least for Era. I'm sure there are some strong friendship forged in that long run. Some players have quitted but still want to stay in touch with their friends on Gaal. Some are deleting the Graal temporarily to prevent the temptation to play because exams may be close or for some other reasons. Of course, they would still want to chat with their friends but doing that on the Graal app itself would urge them to procrastinate by ending up basing/sparring/pking instead of just having a small talk.

I suggest that we have a Graal messenger app where we combine players from all Graal servers to be able to PM each other. I know that kik is a common one, but some people already have a kik account for their personal life and they might not want to use it to talk to Graalians. Although creating another email account is possible.. nobody would want to take the pain to create one just for kik right...?

Therefore, I recommend an app itself for the game. Of course, rules can be preserved such as not enabling photos to be sent and vulgarities to be censored.

What if I want to know what the "BIG NEWS UPDATE" hats look like... need pics for that.

Oh, then there is no point, unless I can get news updates through this "app".

Like a notification, instead of logging on.

But then, a lot of people wouldn't bother logging on.

I like this idea. The only problem with it I have is like who would actually get it?

I know for a fact that zonians won't get it since zone is basically just pvp based and nobody cares what you actually think(trust me I have a kik chat with like 40 active people and nobody but like me and taco talk... It's very sad).

I know on classic being more social based, people would get it.

Just as long as there aren't any ads.

Or themes. Like don't make it themed to a certain server because we don't all play that server.

Like right now I have 5 friends because the friends list is pretty useless. I just search the squad they're in to find them.

Also on the app itself there could be like a recent log of pms that's more intensive than the normal history since that's pretty small.

Imo kik will always serve as the basic graal chat system. There's just more you can do on it... Like #Hashtags :)

Yeah but it still might give the temptation of the user to download the game back so like the other person is like, 'DUDE CHECK IT OUT THERES A NEW UPDATE' and yeah but hopefully there are good friends out there ;)

The only issue I see with this is monitoring what people say. I've caught a fair few offenders through their pm history - i suppose this would be cool for other reasons I guess
