Tag Team Spar Tourny?
i first added an classic tag team spar to my gh the day gh came out, always wanted a tourney for it, other than CrimeWatchers which came much later.
daily quick 1v1 tournies
not sure how it would run systematically but theres definitely ways it can be done. and the warper should be inside the battle arena, not a mass message for less skilled players. Maybe to join you need to be on the leaderboards to be eligible? Maybe add a stat in profile for # of 1v1 tourneys won.
Mentality issues

Device does not matter. I spar on PC and idev now (still much better on idev)
in my OPINION the gsts should be titled "Major league GST" (currently called mixed) and "Minor league GST"(currently called idev)
idevices in 2015 who complain about pc, complain because they suck. Theres idevice like myself, noss, primetime, who stay head to head with most pcs (besides the GOATS of spar, bec they been wrecking for years) its skill, not device.
Another mentality issue is "Bro how many GSTS did you win"
stfu, obviously if you are in Alumni you are going to win GSTs, its a team thing. 1vs1 has no purpose to people anymore which is bs, that skill is more impressive individually than a team effort. Not that GST isn't skill, it is, but its based on your team.

im lazy. make my life easy and put a practice guild spar and spar room in battle arena
1v1 room reconfiguration
delete idev and pc room. make the same system on UN when it comes to overhead score, and make Quick rooms for low score people only, keep mixed room but call it Streak Room. Then have a skilled sparrer streak room.

sparers are too soft. you all make friends and all love each other and are fake asf. You should all be wanting to be the greatest sparrer of all time like wtf? isn't that why you spar? sparers spar to be the greatest i thought, guess I'm wrong because for the past 3 years spar has turned into a chat room full of noobs who are no where near the skill level of jack, thallen, colossus, david, brett, zeros, neo, and any past dominating figures.

Agreed. There's several iDev players that are living proof that the "advantage" PC has over iDev is negligible. Anyone complaining about that is using it as a crutch because they can't, won't or don't want to get better.

Disagreed on both counts.

None of those active people you listed are particularly anti-social and I don't remember the inactive ones being anti-social either. Also, there are people who can compete with everyone on that list (the active ones, of course). Sure, the people on the list may still be better or more consistent but they're not completely blowing every other player on the server out of the water without competition.

As a sidenote, you'd probably get a lot more people to go GH and spar you randomly if you actually talked to people rather than just walking up and saying "1v1 gh?". I know you do talk to people sometimes, because I've talked to you a lot and you're friends with a bunch of my friends, but if you're approaching people just to ask them to 1v1 when you never talk to them they're not going to be willing nearly as often. The few sessions I've had at my guild house started because I talked to a lot of people and just started inviting everyone on my friends list when streak was getting boring.

On the note of gh spar, there's always that fear of being secretly recorded when it was supposed to be a friendly session. This has happened and until people stop taking stuff like that so seriously I probably won't change my gh spar habits much.

Many people do not enjoy 1v1 anymore because of the constantly lagging server. Thus, people are focusing on GST where admins are actually making it less lag as possible.

1 vs. 1 isn't fun anymore because of lag as a direct result of the playercount
Higher playercount = more server lag
Higher playercount = higher number of international players who lag
Higher playercount = higher number of players who intentionally lag themselves

The majority of the good low-ping sparrers who have played for a long time burned out on sparring
People who are newer to the server like Brett and James will have it happen to them eventually

The PC vs. iDevice thing is dead and personally I think there should be one leaderboard and one tournament
I can think of several iDevices that current Mixed teams would pick up if they had the option
Physically responsive controls are an inherent advantage, but I don't think it's significant enough to make a big deal about anymore
The device was never the real advantage, the advantage was the years of experience

I never GH spar because it's boring to me because there needs to be some risk/reward for it to be interesting, even if it's as simple as an incremental number
When **** becomes boring and broken, staff should incentivize it - needs to be a singles tournament or a reward for finishing #1 on the leaderboard at the end of a season

I don't record, its just a game so what if somebody records, grow a pair, and if this is your concern maybe your concern should be not losing.

1v1 is fun.. you just stopped caring. Risk/rewards would be nice... but to me the risk and reward is the winner gets to say he's more dominant. to me the only sparrer consistently proving himself in 1v1 is brett. (even tho id beat him 10-5 yesterday, he's still more consistent than zid from what i see all around)
You don't see me mentioning your name as consistent and dominating often. Then again you don't care, which is just sad to me, just showing your talent once a season for a 5v5 tournament.

Solo spar is boring and no one tries anyways. Seems like you are implying that people must spar rather than doing other things whilst online.

If other sparers want to do something other than guild spar and spar, me and other sparers are not the same. Nothing else in the game is anywhere near as skillful as spar. Unless they added a 4v4 CTF room or some other guild/solo competitions, spar is the only thing people should do. towers complete waste of time

you have to consider how long I've been sparring and what the current sparring environment is like
you're bound to get bored after a while, especially when half of spars are a complete guessing contest

Dark carly and squiggles are better at spar and you've given up on vDragz to join somebody else, sad. And ya my raps were funny, u should spar more, u need to.
