I'm Lost

I'll probably start playing Classic soon but I have NO idea where to begin. I want to start making money for items but I don't know where the jobs are at. If you have anything that can help me just post it. Where to stear clear from, best place to pk, best jobs, good items etc etc

Guilds
The best way to start iClassic if you really want to play the game is Guilds. Start joining Guilds and find a guild that you really like (they have to be active in fort taking) this will lead you into friendships and socializing which make up iClassic

Don't let criticism get you down
You WILL be called names like 'noob', but don't let that get you down just enjoy the game and find players to be friends with. Always ignore and never reply to the hate unless you have your friends backing you up.

Money
Just buy Gralat packs or let it stack up overtime with the Baddy quest at York Town. You can find the quest with the exclamation mark (!) on your map

Player killing and Sparring
If you want to boost up your stats, I suggest player killing first before doing any Sparring. MoD fort at MoD town is the best place to get Player kills. It's time consuming but overtime your kills will look pro

It is really important that you do not jump into sparring straight away when you first start the game, because your wins and losses get recorded. If you have too many losses, you will be judged by other players and its just not fun when everyone is disgusted by your stats. It's best to practice first, player killing should help with that.

I recommend 20k player kills before you start sparring

There's a quest, sort of, a daily pyrat killing mission (york town, which mr ketchum alluded to), bugs to catch and sell, loot to dive and grab... buried treasure maps to dig up... and christmas is coming, so hurry up and make some cash.

No they don't. Find a guild that appeals to you and just go with it, who cares what they do.

Or just try not to respond to it at all.

Good start. There's also diving for loot (fairly easy, you'll need the flippers and preferably the goggles from bandit cave) and bee catching (hard to learn, easy once you catch on, lots of annoying kids trying to PK you while you do it though so It's best during off times.)

Don't go into sparring or pking worrying about stats. Number one, your stats WILL be bad until you get used to the game. Number two, stats don't matter nearly as much as people claim. Skill is what matters and you won't get skill by worrying about your spar stats and sparring "King Inuyasha -Lord of the White Knights- (Master Sword Guild)" in the side rooms at Battle Arena to keep your ratio high.

If you want to get into sparring I suggest you go to streak room and watch some of the better sparrers in there. Anyone from Alumni, Silver Lion, Blackout, GTEAM, VIS, etc are generally a good place to start watching until you learn who the top 0.5% of sparrers or so are (Jack, Zid, Brett, etc), then you can keep an eye on how they spar. As long as you're not being obnoxious, people are generally willing to talk/help if you talk to them as well.

False. Already mentioned that above. Anyone who judges you and insults you based on stats alone is dumb. I'm not gonna lie and say learning to spar is easy, because It's not for a new player. But there's no reason you should feel that you have to PK for days on end before sparring, just do whatever you want to do and you'll be fine.

If you're interested in sparring, pking is a pretty good way to learn the basics of movement and fighting. After you've got that stuff down you should probably practice at Master Li's. You won't be good right away, it takes a lot of time to perfect. Been playing for awhile and I still suck at 1v1 spar. You should check out twilit's guides, I bet they could help you out :)

he sounds like hes 100% new to classic. pk helps at the beginning, towering that motivate u to do some work and if he wants to spar, start from quick spar, face easy to decent ones, then he can move on to streak when he can streak some. it's just a natural progress.
