I previously asked one of those scriptors/coders(whatever Alpho was) to make a showslackers command and he laughed at me. Is this a bad idea or just pure laziness by the coder?

A bad idea, if you're really that good of a gangleader then you should be able to manage your people aswell. Classic has done it without for like 5 years now
