Delete messages from blocked users.
 
My idea would be that if you blocked someone, the messages in your pm history from them would be deleted. I dislike seeing the messages that made me block them when I check my pm history.
Not a big deal, just a little something I was thinking about.

Thoughts?

Hmm... ok... so you pm someone and have a convo. Few mins later you block them and what the whole om convo between you and the other person gone. What happened between that convo lol? Am I the only one who thinks this idea is suspect and bad?

Look, it isn't really all that suspect. I could have a couple people spam me(or do it for myself from a noob account) and achieve the same thing. If someone pms me "you piece of **** lagger go die" or something along that lines, I don't want to see that in my history. as far as I know messages aren't stored past your pm history limit anyway. And even if they were(for security reasons or whatever), they could just have the messages appear blank in your history.

Disagree since the messages leave eventually as Mangsi stated. Maybe if messages were stored differently instead of 50 iirc then sure but it won't serve much purpose to delete them.

Yeah, but if your someone like me who doesn't really pm most of the time, they stay there a long time.
If ur worried about comments like that maybe you should exclude pms from non friends.

Except for like spar, cause ya' know.

Invisible, or at least take off emotes and chat icon visibility.

Does the message still go through? It should something like "Your message was not sent as you have been blocked". If you mean pm's after the fact that they have been blocked or them pm'ing from another server, those do still show up and I would think having a manual delete or deleted all option wouldn't be too hard to add. Then again changing one thing in a script can break a whole mess of other stuff. #Doosty4Prez #Fp45Prez

This isn't about just me. What if im a guild lead? I can't have friends only on. What I'm saying is that it would be a nice feature. Graal caters to 10 year olds, and if they get pmed a swear word(using accent marks to avoid the filter), then it shouldn't have to stay in their pm history. It doesn't even have to be a automatic thing upon blocking, it could just be a "delete message" option.

But I know it won't change your opinion, and that's fine. Were free to disagree, no problem with that

I agree with taking off emotes, but being invisible to you nah cuz you never know when you wanna unblock that said person.
