When you get a Christmas Gift in Classic, what's your chance of getting a hat? 50%? 10% does anyone know the math behind the gifts?

although there's a theory that says if u scam someone or if u gift urself
its gonna be a coal inside.

The only thing I know about gifts are that if someone gifts you under the same IP as you, you chances of receiving food is increased by 20%

Not true, as far as I know the chance is 100% to get gralats.
