New guild power:be able to give out powers to members
 

This power could only be given by the leader of the guild.With that power the member/lead that has it would be able to give out rec,kick,rank,guild news power.So with that power no more guilds getting stolen from sharing ownership!:) (for Classic)

well yeah its an idea, but there would be lots of whining when some high rank kid kicks the entire guild aside from leader

yea but thats why you only give it to people you trust..I prefer getting my whole guild kicked than stolen.

No, he's trying to say that the owner should be able to select other members who are able to give powers to other members. Currently, only the guild owner is able to check/uncheck members' powers.

Not a bad idea but, definetely not something I really see happening. 80% of the time (correct me if I'm wrong) its the guild leaders fault for trusting the player with his entire guild.

ahhh I see. I don't know about this, then. I think there should be one distinct leader to each guild. Once you start giving powers to give powers you muddy the waters as to who the actual leader of the guild is.

I say just have one person with this ability in the guild other than the leader, as in the co-leader.
That way the leader knows who is trying to wreak havoc if they abuse the power

Maybe the guild leader would be able to make preset guild member ranks (Recruit, Captain, Co-Leader, etc.), then associate certain guild powers with each of those ranks. Then members with the power to change another member's ranks can just change the rank and the powers would change automatically.

Anyway, what if you gave me the ability to give powers, then I took them off you, presuming you aren't the owner. This is an infinite loop, bad idea.

People with that power would not be able to take off powers of another member with that power.
